Where the cyber bully lurks

The cyber bully uses chat rooms, email, cell phones, instant messaging and text messaging to bully the person by insulting, threatening, demeaning harassing, deceiving , etc. This all is done without showing the real person and hiding behind the Internet making it the number one reason why it tops the list of higher education problems in America. The bully is generally a person who knows the child well and sometimes in a childish way wants to get back for some incident. Many times the children don’t tell the parents that they are being bullied as they fear that the computer will be taken a way from them. There are many repercussions of this type of bullying and there are psychological repercussions of the bullying.

Take precautions and prevent cyber bullying

To avoid cyber bullying we have to take some precautions ourselves so that in the future cyber bullying will be removed from the list of higher education problems in America. The first is that the child must know that there is always someone to help stop the bullying. The parents, school teachers, principal of the school all are there to help the victims of cyber bullying. Never pass your personal information on the net to strangers. Try to avoid your real name, in its place it is better to use a screen name. Never respond to the harasser who is bullying you.
